In July 2023, La Fibre Artisanale took over the Musk and Amber Gallery for a unique exhibition celebrating Tunisian craftsmanship and the beauty of natural fibers.
With no specific theme imposed, the exhibition offered a free and open space where each piece could tell its own story — an invitation to discover the raw, poetic, and timeless character of natural materials.
An Event Celebrating Tunisian Creativity
For this exhibition, we brought together all our creations made from natural fibers: rugs, mats, decorative objects, wall pieces…
Each crafted using ancestral techniques passed down through generations and elevated by the contemporary vision of our designers.
The intention was simple: to show that craftsmanship is not a fixed heritage but a living field for exploration and innovation.
Renowned Artists and Designers at the Heart of the Exhibition
We had the honor of welcoming three major figures from the Tunisian art and design scene:
-
Meriem Bouderbala, a distinguished visual artist known for her poetic, deep, and expressive universe.
-
Memia Taktak, a passionate designer reinventing the art of Smar weaving through bold and harmonious forms.
-
Azza Meknini Ayachi, a visionary designer blending tradition and modernity in creations that magnify natural fibers.
Their presence and creations added a strong artistic dimension to the event, transforming the exhibition into a true dialogue between tradition and design.
A Space Where Art and Material Meet
At Musk and Amber Gallery, visitors discovered our pieces in a refined and warm setting that enhanced the richness of textures, the precision of weaving, and the uniqueness of each work.
Every rug, mat, and object told its own story —
a region, a hand, a craft, a gesture preserved through centuries.
An Exhibition That Marks a Milestone for La Fibre Artisanale
This event represents a key moment in our journey —
a moment where our work, and the work of our artisans and designers, found its place within an art gallery.
A recognition that motivates us to go even further in our mission:
to honor Tunisian craftsmanship, support artisans, preserve ancestral techniques, and show the world that natural fibers can become true works of art.
